Jaw coupling

The 3 piece jaw power couplings (aluminium and cast iron versions) use the flexibility and resilience of a polyurethane element between metal hubs. This combination allows high torque to be transmitted with little or no backlash, even where there is significant angular and/ or parallel shaft misalignment.

Clutch couplings

These small, user-adjustable torque limiters operate by friction using interleaved clutch plates. The clutches interrupt rotation when the load being transmitted reaches a pre-determined threshold. Rotation continues when the transmitted load drops below the threshold. They can be mounted in-line or concentrically and the various versions allow for different connections. They are used in all sorts of drives to protect personnel and equipment.

Rigid couplings

These rigid couplings provide reliable holding power and maintain alignment when no movement is required. The simple, robust construction provides for easy installation and adjustment. The one piece couplings are supplied with 4 screws, the two piece couplings with 8.

Locking devices

These are the original and premium internal locking devices, fitting inside a component or hub. These units are most commonly used on applications in general engineering to transmit high torques and axial loads. Common types include 7012, 7013.0, 7013.1, 7014 and 7015.

Locking Elements

Locking Elements consist of an internal and external tapered ring. When axial force is exerted on a set of Locking Elements, radial clamping pressures are generated on the shaft and in the hub bore providing a frictional connection.
